Talking Menstrual Health : Bislama version :
We are thrilled to be able to share this video with our followers.
As you know we’ve been working in this space since 2015.
We have been leaders across the Pacific in flying the flag of the importance of sharing talk of menstruation, always in a culturally and appropriate sensitive way.
The Pacific Menstrual Health Network was developed in 2020 as a result of a Workshop funded by DFAT (Australia) in September 2018, which we attended. Mamma’s Laef Vanuatu has been a part of the Network since it’s inception. The Network initialy included other pad producers from PNG , Solomon Islands and Samoa. In more recent times, we have been joined by other organisations who have an interest in their work with women, in the importance of normalising menstrual health and breaking down taboo and barriers that menstruation can bring, in our communities across the Pacific.
We hope you enjoy the simple little video.
