Salted Caramel Chocolate Slice GF, DF, RSF
Anyone with me on this one?
The journey to wellness can have it’s hiccups. I can attest to that. Salted Caramel can be hard to resist.
I have started to wean myself (again) from refined sugar. No I am not going to cut it out completely, but I wanted to see if I could address some minor (I hope) health issues I’ve been having. Trying to find something that I can still indulge in without feeling “sugar guilt” – enter Paula and her Salted Caramel Chocolate Slice.
Gluten Free – Dairy Free – Refined Sugar Free

Yes, I’d made a variety of “date & nut” type slices / balls over the past 5 years – but this one was quite a few steps up in terms of deliciousness – melt in your mouth – don’t feel guilty!
I know, I know – too many dates aren’t great for you, in moderation. So cut the pieces small and enjoy a couple at a time.
Those of you who have visited me at The Nelson Market on a Saturday over the past 4 years will know that the Pic’s Peanut Butter is right next door to me. Pic commenced making some delicious Almond Butter and Cashew Butter a while ago now. So I’ve used Pic’s Cashew Butter in this recipe, along with Lav Kokonas Virgin Coconut Oil for the “chocolate”.
Thanks Paula – you’ve helped me on the journey – I appreciate your encouragement.
