Challenges faced in the Pacific

In 2023 we met with our Pacifica sistas in Fiji.

Our indigenous sistas from Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Fiji who are working in the menstrual health arena.

The concept of the Pacific Menstrual Health Network developed from a meeting held in September 2018 in Melbourne, Australia. Larger groups such as Australia government organisations, international NGO’s and smaller groups such as Mamma’s Laef Vanuatu met to discuss how finance could positively impact of delivery of products and services.

Here is a summary of some of the challenges we face in order to provide a higher level of education, awareness and product for women and girls across the Pacific.
